Is it a celebration for children if there is not lots of color?

Valdez Elementary is a dual language school, meaning their classes are both in English and Spanish. They are a very diverse school and pride themselves in celebrating all cultures. This time it was a celebration from Latin America, Dia Del Nino, which celebrates children, and those who are still children at heart. 
This tradition is celebrated with anything from balloons, pinatas, clowns, games, and dances.

Valdez did not stay behind, they embraced a lot of those elements in their celebration, including; games, bouncy castles, face painting, balloon twisting, special performances, food, and of course balloons!
A Million Dreams was thrilled and honored to bring some fun balloon installations to liven the party!

Unique Elements in Balloon Decor!

Multiple balloon installations served not only as decoration but as picture opportunities as well. From the welcoming wall that let everyone know they were about to have the time of their lives, to the massive installation right at the heart of the party!
We opted for very colorful balloons and stayed away from the basic primary colors we always associate with school and children. And we don’t know about you, but we are obsessed!
We also added big elements, like fringe and foil balloons that made everything POP even more!

Make it POP

Speaking op poping! Ah! See what I did there? Intentional!
We created this huge popcorn installation to let all guest know where they could get their popcorn craving! 
The different shades of yellow balloons make this look like popcorn! And of course, we had to go with different sizes to make the kernels even more realistic.
After all, this was “El Carnaval del Dia del Nino” and you HAVE to have popcorn at a carnival! 
Needless to say, the message was received and guest quickly made their way to the popcorn installation to receive their bags and continue to enjoy the carnival. 

Let’s Talk NUMBERS

Thousands of balloons were blown up at the start of the week and throughout the week. We use the best quality balloons so we were confident they would be in perfect condition for the event.
Can I tell you a secret.. they were still in absolutely great condition weeks after the event! Even after being in the sun! 
Valdez proudly displayed them inside the school for days after. Way to reuse this incredible installation Valdez!! We love to see it! 

It took three team members about 4 hours to install the day of, this is not a one-man job! Thank you to my team for showing up super early to make this possible!
